That's a lot of offense, doesn't matter who you're playing!
FIU is as bad or worse than any team on that list. We played like garbage and still beat Bowling Green by 28. We can play like garbage and do the same to FIU. We SHOULD score when we want to, but for 2 things. (1) we are not good offensively and (2) the curse of the Joe. Holtz seems to have a WTF game every year at home to a nobody, and that could just be FIU. I believe we will win by at least 3 scores, but with Holtz, the only thing that’s for certain is nothing is for certain.
Interesting data. So, since J'Mar took over at QB in 2017, LA Tech has only scored 50 points of more against one FBS opponent. (SMU, in the Frisco Bowl, when our defense scored two Pick Six TD's)
So, the LA Tech OFFENSE, hasn't scored 50 points or more against an FBS opponent since 2016?
Is ANYBODY here besides me making the connection?
We counting kicks in this? JMar’s TDs? Defensive TDs? Special Teams?
If not, the OFFENSE didn’t score 50 points in any game in 2016. That certainly doesn’t mean they couldn’t have...
But they weren’t consistent all year. 28 points against UTEP. 34 points and a blown lead against MTSU. 24 points against USM (only 2 offensive TDs)...
And as far as JMar that year, he actually looked decent in his very short spurts of cleanup in 2016, much like Allen did against Bowling Green.
If other issues aren’t solved, I feel bad for Allen next year if he has the job.
