BTW our football SID completely dropped the ball.

Louisiana Tech DL coach Stan Eggen coached two D-Linemen for the Seahawks: #79 Red Bryant and #72 Michael Bennett. #WeAreLATech
"Louisiana Tech DL coach Stan Eggen coached two D-Linemen for the Seahawks: #79 Red Bryant and #72 Michael Bennett. Will you be the next Bulldog to play in a Super Bowl? #WeAreLATech"

He was promoting two guys who weren't Bulldogs and still hasn't acknowledged our very own D-Lineman Boo Smith who won a Super Bowl ring last night.

He's going after the FB Schedules twitter guy for using the proper AP abbreviation La. Tech instead of using the Los Angeles Tech moniker... And he still hasn't acknowledged our newest Super Bowl Champion.

Agreed. This one actually got a laugh out of me. (and that's not always easy to do).

However, I still like the Bud one with the puppy and the Clydesdales. Hard to beat dogs and horses!

Manning actually set a new record for most passes completed in a Super Bowl yesterday. The Super Bowl is about winning, though, and nobody will remember he completed a bunch of short passes. Just about all of his long passes were way off the mark and the receiver was wide open for that one that Seattle intercepted across the middle. He's a one dimensional QB and everybody knows he's never going to run. Manning is a great guy, just not a great QB. He needs to retire.

Great job, Coach Eggen. You coached two Super Bowl players and a member of the winning SB practice squad.

Oh, by the way, congratulations to videographer Ben Boutwell, LATech grad, one of the main production members of the $1 million-winning Doritos TimeMachine commercial.

Guess all you nitpickers but me dropped the ball on that one.

I read your previous post before you deleted it.

I guarantee you our SID was the only football SID in the country to not acknowledge their school's Super Bowl Champion. That's really sad. It's not nitpicking.

A couple years ago Tabby wrote a week's worth of articles for TNS about ULM's player on Green Bay's practice squad who won a Super Bowl ring.

Texas Tech took out ads in newspapers across the country advertising their former players in the Super Bowl.

Louisiana Tech? Not a tweet. Not a FB post. No splash page. Not a press release. Nothing. No recognition whatsoever for our latest Super Bowl Champion.

The Alumni Association did their job by acknowledging Boutwell's commercial. Tech's football SID didn't do his job.
