Yes. I went to the USAFA remember. Granted that was a long time ago.

You'll be surprised at just how many I run into, even senior people, who do not realize there are more than just Green Berets or Navy SEALs.
I highly recommend that anybody wanting to learn more about our SpecOps personnel read the following book. It is an excellent and very interesting read. These are our best, folks. Their training (detailed in the book) is extremely taxing. The stories told are from the first Gulf War, but you can certainly get the picture for how they operate and the difficulties they face.

By the way, the chapter on the SEAL's Hell Week makes one exhausted just reading it. It is no wonder they suffer a 70% attrition rate during Phase I. And there is no career stigma for not making it through.

There are a lot of things that happened for why she had that reaction. Judging by the others, this is well before that, likely when the helo went down.

My nephew is a Ranger. I like to tease him about how awesome the Navy SEALs are. This is more good fodder.

They had audio and video. Not much different than a typical video conference, just crappier quality.
