Here's a USM fan banking that history will repeat itself, like it has for the past several, er, ten, er….years or so. Well, bud! every cycle has a hiccup in it.
Why not 2018?
Make a bet? Tempting. But I don't bet on 18-22 year old kids. My nerves couldn't take it. But....just for fun. You giving odds?
Truth. The guy has a very weak arm for a D1 QB. All of his yards come from his very good WRs making runs after bubble screens and little flick passes.
The dude's long passes aren't just up for grabs but his out patterns are too. Every true down and out pattern was an almost pick for ULM.
Simply put, ULM won because their QB was much better than Abraham.
Did you watch the game? ULM won because their defensive line destroyed our offensive line. Their QB was 15-28 for 195 yards. He didn't really factor into the outcome of the game. I will agree Abraham doesn't like great standing in his uniform, but then he plays and makes all the throws. Very accurate. He was 31-46 for 378 running for his life.
'cept us. All your RBs will have career days. One will probably get 200 yards rushing and score 4 TDs. Another will get 100 yds and add a TD. Then poor ole Jack A. having thrown the ball only maybe 15 times the whole game, for 100 yards, while our J. Smith is chucking it 50 times, completing only 27, but for about 250 yds and a couple of TDs, in desperation. Afterwards, the Mustard Buzzards celebrate an easy 40-something to about 23....no, not about, we will score 23, but on this board all you'll see is Smith outplayed Abraham, baby!!!
I think most of our animosity and most of J’Mar’s struggles are due to him not seeming like the leader we are accustomed to. Colby, Cody, Jeff, and Ryan were leaders who vocally demanded that the team excel.
