Who???
I got on their website to find out anything about them. This is probably going to come across as harsh but......Did you read any of their web pages and info at all?
I mean how hard was it to find any Atheist/Humanist organization helping or aiding anyone or people group?

I'm all about helping people around the world and at home so I commend them! At least they are trying in Ghana it appears. The one problem that is evident is they currently have Zippo/Nada of volunteers and for funding (listed only 11 people that give over $20/month to sponsor). Even what little is given/donated, this organization keeps 20% for themselves. What?? Their effort in the Denham Springs flooding ($14,754 worth of time) is embarrassing. And their Puerto Rico Hurricane effort only raised $25,000? Hey at least they went down to help. But do atheist and/or "humanist" give their money and time to help others at all? This is terrible and worse then I even thought it would be!!
Again I ask, did you read any of their web pages and info about them at all? Do you give to these guys?
Like I stated, I'm all about helping people around the world and at home so I commend them! But you posted this as an example of libs/humanist/atheist giving back and working to elevate others around the world and at home? ? Seriously?
I guess in their hearts they are really trying to do the right thing. But they currently suck at it. And I wouldn't have used this as your example and I sure would never, ever donate to them. Tell me what I'm missing please because I might have missed it. Again all help and serving of others is good!
So you are one of those Christians that needs to be pat on their back for their service and cut down others for theirs?
You have to remember secular humanists and atheists represent a smaller percentage of the population, don’t organize as a group regularly like religions, and tend to avoid forming groups centered around beliefs. That doesn’t mean that they don’t serve others or donate to local, national, and international causes.
Regarding the 20% cost rating - is that really that surprising for a group that has $77k in assets and reported $390k income. They seem to be reviewed fairly well, but you can’t think of them the same as the SBC. These guys operate at the size and budget of a very small town church.

And now you're the one that didn't answer any of my questions.
Like I stated, "I'm all about helping people around the world and at home so I commend them! Tell me what I'm missing please because I might have missed it. Again all help and serving of others is good!" So your above comments are just stupid.
My questions were as follows:
1) Did you read any of their web pages and info at all before posting?
2) I mean how hard was it to find any Atheist/Humanist organization helping or aiding anyone or people group?
3) But do atheist and/or "humanist" give their money and time to help others at all?
4) Do you give to these guys?
BTW, your comment that, "secular humanists and atheists represent a smaller percentage of the population". Isn't true at all. In fact I would say that the majority today in Europe, large portions of the US (example: the voting left coast), Canada, Russia and in fact the world have become nothing more than humanist and yes atheists because they believe in nothing and worship nothing (many just worship nature and the earth in general like the green movement) and they give nothing except through taxes.
So I repeat again as it appears they lack heart and compassion on their fellow humans, "Do atheist and/or "humanist" give their money and time to help others at all? This is terrible and worse then I even thought it would be!!"
New question: With all of your ranting, do you give sizable amounts of your time and dollars to organizations, people groups in need and/or efforts to help others and the worlds problems of hunger, poverty or illnesses in general? And I don't mean with your taxes!! Because I find most of the everyday "humanist, atheist and liberals" in general massive hypocrites along these lines. Just all talk and BS emotions with no action.
Yes, I do, though not through this organization. I could say the same thing for the other atheists and secular humanists I know.
Guiss has checked off the “helping others” box with his time/money. He gave more than he should have and did it for no reason other than he could.
Hum...say it ain't so...
Just like I've been stating it has happened in every country in the world and still goes on today.
Smugglers sell migrants as slaves; Auctioned for $400...
People for sale
Tripoli, Libya (CNN) -- "Eight hundred," says the auctioneer. "900 ... 1,000 ... 1,100 ..." Sold. For 1,200 Libyan dinars -- the equivalent of $800.
Not a used car, a piece of land, or an item of furniture. Not "merchandise" at all, but two human beings.
One of the unidentified men being sold in the grainy cell phone video obtained by CNN is Nigerian. He appears to be in his twenties and is wearing a pale shirt and sweatpants.
He has been offered up for sale as one of a group of "big strong boys for farm work," according to the auctioneer, who remains off camera. Only his hand -- resting proprietorially on the man's shoulder -- is visible in the brief clip.

Then go and help teach these supposed "socialist" a thing or two about helping others and donating time and $$ will you?
