So sad. He was my Dentist growing up and really pushed me to go to Tech.
He tailgated with a motorhome just north of the north endzone for the longest time.
I may not have the story right, but I understood he made arrangements for some of the Junction City football teams to attend a Tech game as a group.
A dear friend and fellow student trainer back in our Tech days in the 1970s.

Does anyone know what he died of? It sounds like he was only about 64 yrs old.
A big loss to the Tech family.
I hadn't seen him in a few years, but in his later years he usually carried a lot of weight. If it wasn't heart, something like diabetes wouldn't surprise me. One of the comments on the obit's tribute wall mentioned he spent time in one of the El Dorado nursing homes. It's not clear when though.
Whatever the cause, definitely the loss of a proud Bulldog.
The obit link I started this thread with now has pictures.

I remember his lobby contained volumes of Tech year books as reading material while you wait to be seen. The man loved everything Louisiana Tech.
