Myers Named LSWA Hitter of the Week

He was clutch. Certainly deserved a chance without the injuries that allowed him in. He did a great job on defense as well. We have one player who needs a break, not more opportunities.
I like to see a guy make good on his opportunities to contribute. Adarius certainly did. If nothing else he’s batted well enough to lock down at least a rotation as DH. I may be getting ahead of myself but with a healthy Matulia back in left fiend, Corona catching, Garcia at first and Myers DHing, Tech should be as solid as possible. I’d really like to see what these guys plus the other locked in guys could do as a team for a couple of months.
We need a catcher with a gun.
