Official game, so a tie game is now a possibility. Would rather not have played than to have this end in a tie.

We'll need the game experience before we get to Frisco next weekend. Just gotta take care of our business.
Another game with great pitching. Another game with bad bunt attempts and a Bulldog getting picked off base. Our offense is tough to watch.
And SIU-E has the 5-0 shutout still rolling in the 8th.
Just like last year we have got to stop leaving games in the hands of UL-Laf grad umpires like Colby Vidrine for mystery ball four non-walks.

The way to do this is to HIT FRIGGIN BASEBALLS in the first 7 innings!
A new article has been posted on www.latechsports.com:

Nope. Our replacement pxp guy didn't know what he was talking about. He made a bad assumption and blamed the hitter. We couldn't even see the runner on the CUSA.tv feed until he got tagged out in the run down. Postgame Burroughs said it was not a missed sign, and the runner made a bad read on a ball in the dirt (after previously making a bad read in the dirt) and got picked off. That was 100% another Tech base running blunder.
This is a really bad loss.
This team appears to have some talent they just need to step it up, play determinedly and not be denied in generating some consistent hitting. I think a little confidence would go a long way. Right now we don’t seem to have any spark plugs to get things going.
