Is was only a matter of time before the SEC home field cheat kicked in as Arkansas goes ahead 4-2 on a controversial call that got Burroughs ejected.
Ump clearly pointed foul ball then I guess he expects the defense to read his mind
The was just bad. The ump should have overturned the screw up when he & everyone watching saw him point foul
Not only did he point foul but he emphatically pointed 3 times
Worst screw up I’ve seen in s while
Absolute bullshit
I'm not sure what the ump was signaling, but it was not foul ball. He pointed wrong, but he did not signal foul ball.
Uh he pointed foul like 3-4 times never pointed fair - so what did he call it? The home plate ump should have called it foul & send runners back. Can’t expect the defense to read umps mind. Now was the ball actually fair? Looks like it hit the line but in baseball the continuation of the play depends on the umpires call
Tech can’t get a fair shake at home with umpiring so there’s absolutely no way they’re getting one on an SEC field.
As we all expected their pitching was stronger which was the greatest difference in the game and more than likely would’ve been enough to accomplish a Razorback win eventually. It just really sucks when it’s officiating that ends up deciding things.
The ball looked like it hit right on the line behind third base, but it was fair when it went past the bag. Umpire pointed the wrong way, plain and simple. If the ump had actually called it foul, he wouldn't have moved into foul territory by the third base bag after finishing his incorrect signals.
Never should have been in that situation after 2 outs and the bases empty. Walk and hit by pitch were the runs that scored.
If that’s not pointing foul, I don’t know what is. Seeing is believing.
