I though i would give you an update on this season and teams. First i will start with the 17 and under or Junior Boys.

Tevin Hall(09) 5'11 Bossier High PG -- Solid pg that makes up go. Great defender, QB for Bossier High - 4.0gpa and 25 on the ACT. Hon mentinon all state in 4A

Cedric Jenkins(10) 6'1 Reserve Christian 2G--Only a soph, he is one of the top shooter in D state. Had games this year where he made 15 and 12 threes in the games. Class B
tournament MVP. First team all state

Jake Green(09) 5'10 DeRidder P/2G -- Solid player, GREAT SHOOTER. District MVP and Hon Mention all state. Coaches son

R J Scott(09) 6'2 Salmen 2G -- One of the top 5 players in the 09 class. Good shooter and
passer. Getting some big time looks for big schools. Coach Bailey is all over him. District
MVP and all state.

Tremal White(09) 6'1 H L Bourgeois P/2G -- Best defender on the team. Geat speed and
great at getting into the lane and scoring. The nephew of former NBA player Robert
Pack. District MVP and first team all state 5A. Dad may be a WAC ref this year.

Quinn Lemineux(09) 6'4 Catholic High of N.I. Wing -- Good role player for us. Good
shooter and run the court really well. All District and 4.0gpa

Eric Young(09) 6'2 Catholic High of N.I. PG -- All district

Stevie Howard(09) 6'0 H L Bougeois PG -- Very good PG. Very quick and great ball skills.
Had 43 points in the semi of the state championship this year. All district and all state

Rossevelt Johnson(09) 6'5 Destrehan PF -- wow, great player. can play the 3 or 4 position. Jump out the gym. shoot the mid range shot well. First team all state, district mvp. great kid too.

Eddie Lugwig(09) 6'8 Country Day(NOLA) PF -- Big Red Head can play with anybody. He can shoot the three, play inside or play mid range game. Two weeks ago against the #1 center in the country, Eddie put 26 points on him. District MVP, All state first team.

Kourtney Roberson(09) 6'9 Arcadia PF/C -- One of the top post players in the country. Can handle the ball like a guard. Had the dunk of the tournament at the Boo Williams tournament. Can play three positions on the court. Will be a big time recruit. Boston College called yesterday. District MVP, First team all state, Shreveport Times All Area MVP.

Matt Derenbecker(10) 6'6 Pounchotoula High 2G/wing -- The blond bomber can really play. He may be the best soph in the state. He can play the 2G or the wing position on the court. Son of a coach. Left handed. District MVP, First team all state 5A. Going to be gooooooooood. 4.0gpa

We are 10-3 right now with a big tournament in Dallas this weekend. Last, I have a freshman on my team, John Issac from Pickering High School near Leesville who may be the BEST freshman i have ever had in my program. I know he is going to be Top five freshman in the country. He is avg 25pt per game on our 15 and under team and 10pt per game on our 17 and under team. He is 6'3/185 and he is still 15 years old.

Mike thanks for the update. Saw Ludwig in the state title game he is a player, uses both hands about as good as anyone I have seen at that level.If Tech can pull Ludwig and Roberson.....WOW!!!

mike, give us an update on some of these kids. i know tevin is walking on at tech. roberson is in a prep school. ludwig is playing for lsu, and derenbecker is supposed to be a stud for them next year. where's jenkins headed? and where did the hlb duo end up? i remember seeing them in the dome, and they were two of the best players in the building. i also saw where isaac, unfortunately, has already committed to lsu.

Why wouldn't a Power Forward like Roberson want to stay close to home, and benefit from the up close and personal tuteledge of a 2-time NBA MVP at his position, Karl Malone??? Seems like the opportunity of a lifetime for the kid.
