    Speaking of good QBs...

Well, I was speaking of good QBs in another thread. This Cole Marcoux kid has TONS of potential.

Wow! committed to Dartmouth???? Are you kidding me! The throws he made in that all-star game, which I happened to watch, shows he should be considering a bigger program. Tremendous talent with loads of potential.

Didn't see the game, but the article makes it sound like he got the attention of some of the bigger boys. It will be interesting to see where he winds up.

AND, he wouldn't need a football scholarship.

    I don't know about that. I had a 3.75 and a 31, and I still pay 1k/quarter to go to tech.

True. I was one point shy and still paid a sizable tuition bill until I moved off campus.

What you need to do is apply somewhere else, get a scholarship offer, and use it as leverage for money from Tech.

They may throw more money your way in order to get you.

    I *heart* Presidential Scholarship

I *do not heart* the total lack of tuition support for grad students.

Yeah, but I thought if he played football, even though he got an academic scholly as opposed to a football scholly, it still counted towards the total allotment of scholarship players.

It does. But, I guess it would save the athletic department money.

I didn't know that. That seems ridiculous to me for a school like Tech who has their scholarships based entirely on merit.
