Re: 2010 ncaa tournament

Going to be a fun bracket. I heard the guys on ESPN say that after Texas, ASU, and UVA, it is really a toss-up. And even those three are not that much above the others.

Looking at Coastal Carolina makes me so envious. Not a power conference school by a long shot, yet got the 4th seed overall. We need to be taking notes.

They have a very good program, as does the College of Charleston. Perhaps we should recruit the Carolinas. I mean you have Costal, CoC, UNC, Clemson, South Carolina... that is alot of good teams from one area.

I noticed the abundance of teams from that area. Did not realize it was such a baseball hotbed.

Re: 2010 ncaa tournament

ULL, LSU, and Grambling make it and we get to watch it on tv again this year...
Southeastern was ranked for much of the year and didn't make it into the tournament either. How far down is Tech baseball in the state of Louisiana's pecking order?

Even with our current pitching situation I'd say we are 4th behind ULL, lsu, and maybe Southeastern.

Grambling, or any team from the SWAC, that gets in the tournament is a joke.

Even if it is a joke, they are still practicing while we have already turned our equipment in for the year. Where would you rather be in June, on Grambling's team or Tech's team?

I would rather be on Tech's team. I'm not a bandwagoner.... Plus Grambling will be turning theirs in two day after the regionals start.

I agree. I would never turn in my memories or allegience to Tech but my question related to where would you rather be at the end of the 2010 season, in the playoffs or at home. Grambling will get smoked and we all know it but they are still playing and we aren't.
I am just saying that I wish that we still were even if we were a number 4 seed playing anywhere.

Re: 2010 ncaa tournament

Until I saw this thread I didn't realize Minnesota won the Big Ten, and is a "powerhouse" baseball program in that league. We darn swept them earlier this year.
