Yeah, but the Liberty would take a leftover Big12 school, probably Iowa St. over us. So we need two Big 12 BCS bids.

I'd rather hod...Tulsa is a tough draw.

And the fact that Tech doesn't need to play Tulsa three times in the next 12 months.

But the HOD has a big 12 tie in too right? So the big 12 will not meet have a team in at least one of those bowls.

There are more Big-12 teams then tie ins for their conference. We are basically competing against a Big12 team for an at large spot in the Liberty Bowl

That is what I don't get. If Kansas state wins, there will be two big 12 teams in the bcs assuming NIU or Boise don't make the top 16. That would open up the HOD. Plus the Liberty Bowl. I would think we'd get one of those.

Big XII has 9 bowl eligible teams. 8 contracted bowls counting the Fiesta Bowl. HoD is pick number 8.
