Yep. My m2 is great. I had a 3 1/2 chamber 870 and I only used the 3 1/2 shells once (literally, one shot) and I knew I wasn't likely to use it again. Unless the guy hunts geese regularly, I'd say save $300 bucks and get an m2.Originally Posted by FishingBack

Anybody ever built an AR with a kit? Looking at del ton when the funds are available. Kits start around $465. Only other thing you have to buy is a stripped lower.

Highly recommend a Ruger LCR for concealed carry. Just put a Crimson Trace grip on mine which ups the awesome factor. Very acurate, smooooth trigger for a double action . . . I really like it.
I'd like to build one too. Which components are you leaning towards?

Anyone pick up one of those Doublestar AR-15s yet? I have been thinking about getting a pistol (mostly for play) and a revolver (for defense), and the suggestions in this thread have been great.
