acronyms. the epa loves them. so do management consultants. my favorite is the "clear" communication method:
c - concise
l - less is more (keep it short and to the point)
e - don't remember
a - don't care
r - results
it contradicts itself with the redundancy of the first two letters. all for the sake of a cute acronym.
Sounds like the military. My mind would literally hurt sometimes when my dad and his supervisor were talking, and most always with acronyms. Think of Robin Williams in Good Morning Vietnam: "Seeing as how the V.P. is such a V.I.P. shouldn't we keep the P.C. on the Q.T. 'cause if it leaks to the V.C. he could become a M.I.A. and then we'd all be put out on K.P." only they did it MUCH worse and I had to learn everything on my own.
