I've got the khar cw40. The mag has never seeded right for me so I have sent it back several times. I love my glock 22, but always wanted a Sig and I love the trigger pull. That's the thing about pistols, they each fit people so differently.

Yeah, the magazine does have a bit of play for sure. I am looking at either a new Mossberg shorgun or a small frame revolver now.
I would love a nickel plated 38 snub nose to carry as a boot gun. My grandfather carried one for years and it was a great pistol.
Thanks for the early suggestions on the gun for the nephew graduating. I am going this weekend to purchase the Benelli SBEII. Black with 28" barrell. It may be hard to only purchase one.![]()
Anyone here handled a Browning Hi Power?
Yep
I'm an asshole! What's your excuse?
How is it compared to the 1911?
I love the Browning. It is a natural pointer and was ahead of its time. It fits my hand well. I'm not sure how to compare it to the 1911. The safety on the Browning is a bit small and it feels different.

Hey guys, I'm thinking of buying a used Marlin 336 30-30. I plan on using it around 100yrds, nothing too far out. I wanted something I can drag around an not treat like a queen. I plan on putting a scope on it because I hate open sights. Figured if I can't find a used one I'll buy new then.
What do yall think of the rifle?
I want an AR-15. What should I get?

I've shot a lot of deer with my Marlin scoped with a Leupold. All but one of my shots were under 100 yds and I've never had a deer go more than 20 yards after being hit. I shoot the 150 grain 30/30 round. The one shot over 100 was nearer to 250 and I thought I was shooting at the same one that I hit on my first shot or I wouldn't have tried the shot in the first place. I spun the deer while it was walking fast and it never got back-up. On the way to to this deer I shot at 250 I stumbled over the first one that I shot! Great "brush" gun and mine is very accurate. They are very front-heavy guns for their size which makes them very stable when shooting offhand and their short stature makes them great for handling in stands or just stalking or ground hunting. Just make sure the barrel isn't pitted on a used rifle. Take a small flashlight with you when shopping and shine it into the chamber while looking down the barrel.

I got a S&W MP16 for around 800 buck brand new. Its great! I tote it at work and wouldn't trade it for anything.
