Can we have a fundraiser to send me to the Poinsettia Bowl? I played in the band in high school.
If I was going to create a college football playoff, I would use the 4 BCS bowls as an 8 team playoff. This would add one week to the season (a final four). Leave the rules for qualification as is, so that a school from a non-AQ conference can actually have a chance to play for a national title in the division they’re supposedly competing in. The rest of the bowl games could remain as well, as they don’t really mean anything significant anyway.
