We will take it. We need the rain in Natchitoches....we have had a drought here for past two years.....lake her is down 3' from normal.

Just 3 feet? I thought the city used that lake for water? Toledo Bend is another story I guess.
The more you go west, the worse. We have family down around Uvalde, TX that have (had) a rather large "pond" for livestock watering that averaged about 10 ft depth (guesstimate). Last check, about 3 months ago, they had a "wet spot" about 12-16 feet in diameter (depth maybe 2 ft). Got cracks in the rest of the bottom you could fall into (slight exaggeration). Had to get rid of the cows.

Cane River Lake in downtown is 3" low. Some rowing teams from up north usually spend some time down here practicing their rowing, but can not do so this year due to no water craft being allowed. Also, Sibley Lake....drinking water source is down 3'.
