The more you go west, the worse. We have family down around Uvalde, TX that have (had) a rather large "pond" for livestock watering that averaged about 10 ft depth (guesstimate). Last check, about 3 months ago, they had a "wet spot" about 12-16 feet in diameter (depth maybe 2 ft). Got cracks in the rest of the bottom you could fall into (slight exaggeration). Had to get rid of the cows.
