B-52 Stratofortress

Yesterday was the 60th birthday of one of the greatest airplanes ever to fly, the B-52 Stratofortress.

I waste at least an hour every time I go to SBC just watching these babies fly around, weather permitting.

Looking forward to the the Barksdale Air Show this weekend.

Never tire seeing them big birds fly. Left S'port/Bossier yesterday via Hwy 71 South. One after another lumbering overhead. Kewl!

It was a RAF trainer in Ireland at the end of the WWII. Managed a ride and boy was it a blast and a thrill! Smokin fast with the Merlin engine.
