Ice cream tycoon William Dreyer invented this favorite ice cream flavor in 1929, at a time when ice cream was only vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry. Dreyer chopped up some nuts, tossed in a few marshmallows, and gave his creation a fun name to cheer people up in the midst of a Great Depression. Ice cream has been the go-to cure for hard times and heartbreak ever since.

Already feel like you're repeating the same day over and over? Well lighten up, this day isn't about monotony. It's about doing everything twice because, um, why not? Have a second breakfast. Give your spouse a second goodbye kiss in the morning. Re-do your presentation to those folks from corporate and maybe this time you can avoid opening with a joke.
