Would be great if it were addressed, but Tech is full of people that have a short-time horizon and have been unwilling to incorporate setting aside money for the longterm. dropped another 150 in when my LTAC rolls over at the end of this month.... wish we had a way to get this out to the masses, not just the names that the university pimps.
Living off of the interest of a saving account is a lot better than begging every year like we are doing. Budget cuts don't affect schools with strong well funded endowments likethey do schools who won't plan ahead.

I donated a little last week. Only 25 bucks but that's the kind of donations I have been preaching about. This think has been my gospel to who ever will listen lately!!
Here is my annual end-of-year plea for donations to the Athletics Enhancement Endowment. Since we aren't going bowling this year, how about directing some or all of the money you were going to willing give to the gas stations, motels, restuarants, game tickets, etc to the Endowment.
This spend will do some good in perpetuity and bring some feel-good back in your Tech life. Your donation will supercede any and all Tech coaches and admins that you are having any grief over!
