I'll start by saying that I have no idea who the worker is that let him out, but could/should a lie detector test be in order? Not trying to undermine this worker's credibility, but this could be an easy avenue of fact checking. Would hate for this extensive search effort to be barking up the wrong tree (no pun intended).
He is supposed to be reimbursed for all food and veterinary care expenses. That was part of his contract. It's his own choice whether he gets reimbursed or not.
And he needs to stop referring to our mascot as LT especially when he is talking to the media. His name is Tech XX.

Was Sexton the only one that offered to keep Tech XX? I'd like to see his next handler be someone that really bleeds Tech red and blue, not someone that is running off to BR every weekend. It sounds like Sexton just wanted a playmate for his kids.
I don't think so. A veterinarian was chosen to be the caretaker of Tech XX primarily because Tech XIX was so unhealthy.
I do agree with you that Tech's caretaker should bleed Tech red and blue and treat him like royalty.
He is saying LT because that is what the dog answers to. If someone see the dog, he might not answer to Tech XX.
The News-Star referred to our mascot as LT in the headline and throughout the entire article without any mention of Tech XX. I sent TNS an email asking them to correct his name, and this was the response I got, "The caretaker of the dog, who is a Tech alum, calls him LT. Does he have multiple names?" TNS had no clue his name is Tech XX, but thankfully they did make a few edits. Now Sexton has KTBS and KSLA calling him LT. Maybe the Monroe stations, too. He not only lost our bulldog, but he's disrespecting the tradition of our mascot's name. I think it's sad that people actually think our mascot's name is LT. There is already enough confusion between Tech and Champ. If anybody sees a fawn and white bulldog with a black spot over his right eye, they will know it is Tech XX.

They definitely made corrections. I saw an article linked on the CUSA board. It had LT, LT, LT, LT..no mention of Tech XX in the teaser. But when you go to the actual article it said Tech XX in all of those places. It was clearly edited after the teaser was posted.
Dude. The dog responds to LT. That what the dog was train to respond to. I'm sorry that you are on your period and crying cause Dawg06 doesn't get what he wants. It's not about you, this is about find Tech XX. How hard is that for you to understand? Again the dog responds to LT, so they are telling people LT. Duh. Get over yourself.
Myself? My post had nothing to do with me. My post was 100% about upholding and respecting Tech tradition.
And they have said since Day 1 that the dog name is Tech XX but he responds to LT. But for some reason you keep harping on it like someone just changed the official name. It's not that serious. If calling the dog LT is the best way for him to respond and come to you, so be it. I just want our damn dog back.
