If the shuttle service was handled by Tech for the Grambling game, It ran very smoothly. 5 bucks for ten minute ride from Mall st. vincent

So Grambling provided the shuttles for the Tech game?
There were no shuttles for the Grambling game. I bought a parking pass to that one also. I don't know if there were Grambling people running the parking last time but I got there over an hour from kickoff and when I went to park in my zone they had assigned me they told me they were full. While driving around I noticed a lot of vehicles parked in that zone without the pass hanging and had Grambling stickers on their vehicles. Quite frustrating!!!!
Yes.
Last year was the first one I've missed in the past decade because of the downpour. The I-Bowl only runs the I-Bowl. The group running the show is now the Shreveport-Bossier Sports Commission, and they have done absolutely nothing for this game. They haven't even had a meeting since April! Yes, April! These are the same screw-ups who lost the Top 28 last year.
Regarding ticket sales, the difference between this game and the I-Bowl is that the I-Bowl has corporate sponsors buying thousands of tickets each year. We don't have corporate sponsors buying thousands of tickets for this game or any other game. As far as selling our "allotment" of tickets, Tech and A&M would have done very well for the I-Bowl, maybe within 3K of selling out, but this isn't the I-Bowl. A&M has yet to sell their allotment of 10K tickets. The Aggies still have chairbacks available on the east side. To those saying A&M will bring 20-25K, they haven't even sold half of that amount yet. I'm expecting a turnout in the low 30K range unless we starting giving away tickets in bulk.
Essentially no tickets (2K) have been sold to locals not affiliated with Tech or A&M. Casual sports fans in Shreveport will not support Tech in any significant numbers as long as LSU is a national team. That's just reality. We just have to focus on winning our lost alumni back. If we can't get our alumni to support Tech, how can we expect the average Shreveporter to support us? Playing one game in Shreveport instead of Ruston will not win us any of their casual fans, but yet we keep trying.

Yes there was, from Mall St. Vincent. Nice charter buses not city of shreveport busesOriginally Posted by bdawg22;1255768[B
I'm not doing the shuttles whether or not they are there, so should I get a parking pass from the State Fair or can I park somewhere by the Ibowl for cheaper or free? And do you think getting to the stadium around 5 will be early enough for a good spot. thanks for any help
Now Dawg06, I confess to usually enjoying your posts. You usually post a lot of good info on BB&B. But you really don't know what you are talking about when it comes to Texas A&M support. A&M will BLOW AWAY 10K tickets. A&M will easily travel 15K to 20K to this game (which is what I've always predicted). Furthermore, the overall game attendance will draw at least 40K.
