Do you have a Parking Pass?
The following parking passes are available by calling the State Fair office (318-635-1361):
White Lot: This is also a tailgating lot; located diagonally across Pershing Blvd from Hirsch Coliseum; PRICE $25 per space
Silver Lot: Located just in front of Independence Stadium, about a couple hundred yards away from Hirsch Coliseum - in front of North end of stadium; PRICE $20 per space
General Parking: NO PERMIT REQUIRED. Farther away from Hirsch Coliseum on the East side of the fairgrounds - between Baseball Stadium and Hirsch Coliseum; PRICE $10 per space
Coming from the West to Silver and White Lots: (1) Exit from I-20 at Monkhouse Drive - Exit 13; head North on Monkhouse to Greenwood Road, Highway 80 and turn right - proceed East on Greenwood drive through intersection of Jewella to Stadium Drive, turn right on Stadium Drive and follow parking attendant direction to reserved space; or (2) Exit from I-20 at Jewella Ave - Exit 14; head North on Jewella to Greenwood Road, Highway 80 and turn right - proceed East on Greenwood drive to Stadium Drive, turn right on Stadium Drive and follow parking attendant direction to reserved space.
Coming from the East:
I would not exit at Hearne Ave (Exit 16 A). The traffic entrance on the East side of the Fairgrounds is at Kings Highway - very close to the Interstate exit and a lot of local traffic comes down Kings Highway to the stadium.
Options from the East" (1) Exit at Greenwood Road - Exit 16 B, turn right on Greenwood Road and proceed West through Hearne Ave, past LA State Exhibit Museum to Stadium Drive, turn left onto Stadium; (2) Exit at Greenwood Road - Exit 16 B, turn right on Greenwood Road and proceed West to Hearne Ave, turn left/South onto Hearne Ave, and proceed to Kings Highway, turn right into general parking area; OR (3) go West all the way past Stadium on I-20 to Monkhouse Drive and follow directions above on coming from the West.

How dumb are the Aggies?
........Aggies are so dumb they are picking up their parking passes at Willcall.![]()
yep, the one we took to the game was from the mall. They were big greyhound type buses. Was a mess and it was a Monday night game if I remember right so not much
"other" traffic on the road. The stadium was pretty full and both teams weren't from the area. Maybe you locals know where to park and walk from but the busses were pretty mixed with fans from both teams using them. Maybe just too many folks and they weren't prepared. All I know is we weren't going to use the shuttle/bus this year because of it.
Sounds like you guys know more about the best way in/out with shuttles so I am paying attention...
Anybody ever taken a cab to/from Indy?

If I'm driving in from the East, would it be advantageous to to I-220 and come in from north of the stadium?
If I did that where should I get off of 220?
I've been to Independence Stadium many times and I am so sick of reading the lies about your car being stolen and the rough neighborhood. The people in that neighborhood (whatever it is called) don't give a rat's ass about the game or anybody's car. I have never heard or read anything about violence after a game there. The Shreveport Police department does a fine job with security and traffic. Quit worrying and give yourself time to get in and out the stadium and most of all Cheer on the Dawgs!
