So did Tech sell all the tickets that were given or all that were asked for?
It's my understanding we sold all that was given ( all I know it was sec.225) and I have no idea how many seats that actually was. I believe we pretty much taken over sec.224 and have some in 223. Now does all that equate to 500 or 2500, I have no idea. I was told we were only given a few hundred. No, I don't know if that was 200 or 800.
One of the Houston posters on CUSABBS confirmed for me that each section seats between 1000 and 1300. Like you said, did we get ALL of 225, or just a part of it? I guess we'll know in a week. Everybody should wear BLUE!!! that would look awesome against all their red.
I disagree. My family sits in the visitors section at JAS, bc there is almost always plenty of extra elbow room for kids to wiggle and squirm. This was not the case, however, at the Houston game.
The Cougars brought, by far, more visiting fans than any other team last year.
Me and a few fraternity brothers decided today to make the trip down there. Dont have tickets, probably gonna stub hub.
I believe we will. At one time I counted over 2500 alumni from the alumni directory who lived within 100 miles of Houston. That was about ten years ago, so it's probalby higher now. The last time we played Rice (on a monday night at Reliant after the game had been changed twice) we probably out numbered the Rice fans. I remember a good crown the last time we played Houston, too.
