I use a monitor @ my office so I can run dual screens. I simply ran the video cable I use at the office and plugged it into a video input on the back of my TV. Went to the TV Function button on the remote and found that I now had the option to select "PC" in addition to the normal options of TV, HDMI 1 & HDMI 4. Selected the "PC". That gave me my desktop showing on my on the laptop and the TV.
Tried to run the audio on the home theater but once I got the radio running on HDMI 4 and reselected PC on the TV Function, I lost the radio. So I kept the TV Function on PC, and got on the internet on the laptop. Went to ESPN and found the ESPN3 and went ahead and started a live soccer game. Muted the audio. Went to Control Panel and set the display to maximum pixels. Opened a new window and went to to ESPN97.7 and put the live feed on. So I'm watching soccer and listening to Nick White. Once the game is on this is how I'll run. If there's too much of a lag between audio & video I'll just shutdown 97.7 and go with ESPN's audio.
The only other thing i did was go to power management on the Control Panel and set the laptop where I can close the laptop lid and nothing happens. My 2 year old grandson cant resist a computer so that will remove the temptation.
