Re: The sky is not falling!

If we had a half decent defense, we would probably be looking at a more realistic opportunity at a BCS bowl right now with the way things are turning out! Just half decent....wouldn't have even had to be great. We would've won the A&M game and put up much scarier looking scores. Think we can expect better than what we're getting on defense. Yes, I'm pleased we are winning, but it is hard to even follow the games I'm so nervous because of the porousness of our D!

The problem is I don't want a decent chance at a win. I want to walk in there like we own the place.

We play defense like we have 10 players and no safety......at least that is what it continuously looks like.

Fitte has to mirror Keaton Saturday. Give him ONE job as apparently that is the issue. ONE job, stay with Keaton.

Anything less, a blood pressure rep could make a killing at the gate!!

As I sat in the stands last night here in San Marcos, I kept thinking the same thing. What do you have to lose? They are scoring anyway. Take some chances.

Go for it EVERY FOURTH DOWN on their side of our 40. It's the right move.

We already did, it was that game in Shreveport that we should have won by at least 1, without the PAT miscue, and would have won by a lot more if the defense got to the game before halftime.

I want Tech's D to be challenged like Coach Ruple did us 55 years ago. I want our D and our D Coaches to decide they are going to refuse to be beaten, to be tough enough to go out strong, to finish what this team has started. I want them to come out Saturday as proud Bulldogs refusing to let their team down no matter the sacrifice. I want them to go out winners, and I'll say whatever it takes to get their attention because this it what they have to do for themselves and for Tech!

Bill Ruple Neville's legendary coach. Assistants Charlie Brown & Chic Childress. Ruple was one tough SOB. Our sidelines need a little Ruple.

Our offense can kick the crap out of our next two opponents easily unfortunately our Defense doesn't allow them any room for mistakes or slow starts. Lets go "D" the time to shine is now!

In his last 49 games, Neville lost just once.

Are any of you aware how depleted our LB's were last night. Solomon playing hurt, Hester out and Mitchum hardly played. Relax they will all be back healthier next week.

Red Franklin wouldn't be a bad motivator either.
