If we had a half decent defense, we would probably be looking at a more realistic opportunity at a BCS bowl right now with the way things are turning out! Just half decent....wouldn't have even had to be great. We would've won the A&M game and put up much scarier looking scores. Think we can expect better than what we're getting on defense. Yes, I'm pleased we are winning, but it is hard to even follow the games I'm so nervous because of the porousness of our D!

Meh, the offense is WAY too good to definitively say we will lose against ANYONE much less a team from the WAC. The problem is our defense is so bad we can't definitively say we will beat anyone from any conference. That said even if the defense plays like crap we have a good chance to beat USU and SJSU. The problem is I don't want a decent chance at a win. I want to walk in there like we own the place.

You have to think about our games like an NBA basketball game. It comes down to who can make a stop in the last few minutes. We need to take more chances on defense. So what if we give up some big plays they would have probably scored anyway. We need to sell out more and try to force turnovers. Play to your strengths.

As I sat in the stands last night here in San Marcos, I kept thinking the same thing. What do you have to lose? They are scoring anyway. Take some chances.

I want our D and our D Coaches to decide they are going to refuse to be beaten, to be tough enough to go out strong, to finish what this team has started. I want them to come out Saturday as proud Bulldogs refusing to let their team down no matter the sacrifice. I want them to go out winners, and I'll say whatever it takes to get their attention because this it what they have to do for themselves and for Tech!
