There has been a school shooting in California (high school), Kentucky (community college), and Missouri (vocational college) since SH. Kentucky and Missouri happened on the same day as Obama's dictation about gun control.

Did you read about the guy that ambushed the fireman? And how long he had been in prison and what he did to get there prior to shooting the fireman? How about which judge and system let that evil dude out?

Yes and it shouldn't make anyone ill. He had no record of ever being in trouble anywhere before he killed grandmother. He was a model prisoner and parolee. Never in trouble. The judge did what he could under the law in 1981: 8 1/3 to 25 years (he could have served as little as 5 today). The parole board denied him parole 5 times before letting him go in 1998. Served 2/3 of his sentence, which is likely more than most convicted of manslaughter. But if this guy wasn't an example of how the system is supposed to work, then no one is. Anyone that wants to blame the system for his act is just looking for something else to gripe about like those that blame the gun for what happened.

A semi auto version of the real thing, authentic looking all the way down to the bb gun sites. A lever action 30-30 would be a more deadly "assault" weapon than that thing.
