Yeah, it's kind of confusing. It almost sounds like it's saying the coaches have the last name of a school. I don't know any coaches who have Tech in their name, but what other "last names" would a school have than Tech, University or the name of a state?

Yeah, but those would actually end in University technically making University their last name. However, I'm sure he's not being that specific.
