    BoP in Red ... Really?!

I know it is summer uniform but when the opposition primary color is red and we want all fans in blue or white then get something else for the BoP and any coaches or support groups to wear. Lead by example ...PLEASE

Mr Robken has based his decision on heat most likely. We WILL be leading by example; you won't see a more spirited group in the stands.

I will never know how the band survives this heat! But glad they do.........they add a lot to the game atmosphere!

Not questioning the band leading and commitment but wish we had a summer blue or a back up white color. I expect to see some of the team support (water group for example) possibly in red too. Hard to pick on the fans wearing last year's redout shirt if some of the tech representation is in red too. Maybe I am too sensitive on this subject but seems teams we play don't fall into this trap.

Well... sounds like we need to start writing some checks for blue summer uniforms for the band.

A thread critical of the BOP. A quintessential Triple B tradition.

In this heat I would let them wear shorts and Tech jerseys or golf shirts. Man, its hot.

So red polos or t-shirts are cooler than blue ones? I think he was referring to red versus blue shirts--not questioning your commitment or leadership or even the subject of full uniforms in the heat. Just seems odd the band would wear red when we're trying to get the crowd in blue and red being the other team's color makes it worse. I guess he wants the band to stand out in a sea of blue, not be a part of it.

Lamar's band had more presence but was most definitely not better. Their half time show severely under whelmed me, and their dance line's unis were not flattering at all. ( More like flattening)
