The Tulane loss was on the coaches. Tulane's coaches beat our coaches. That's it!
Holtz reference to not putting Harris in (along w/ the Harris package) is all we need to know.
Water under the bridge now. They coached a good gave vs. Kansas.

1st pass intercepted while taking a big hit. Right read as DJ was past the defender and safety likely wouldn't have gotten there in time. Second pass, right in the hands of the defense that he luckily dropped the pick 6. 3rd series, coaches didn't trust him to throw a pass... even on 3rd and real long.
And Young started something awful like 2 for 16 or so. Just awful offense all around.
Neither QB has shown the ability to complete a 10 yard pass. Until one of them can do that, I'll still say that whomever plays has a short leash.
Did anybody mention that Tulane was sending 9 every play in the second half?
This was the final straw. Tulane looked at the situation (freshman QB, inexerienced line, and both running backs hurt) and said, "wait a minute, if we blitz everybody, they will freak out...." It worked, over and over again.
Sorry, sorry, I'm over it (not really, I want that one back...).
For goodness sake; Let's move on to Army and turn the season around. I took enough heat working on the Washington Navy Yard for that loss to Navy a few seasons ago. Can't stand to see us get beat by Army..... again (I was at West Point during our last game).
Bump........
Higgins finished 20 of 36 for 320 yds against Army. He also did a GREAT job of throwing the ball DOWN field. Not bad for a Redshirt Freshman. (And no, he hasn't learned to play defense too!)
Higgins looked a lil better today. He does not have a strong arm. But, he will mature and arm strength improve some.
Oh....who was the moron bashing Guillot? Guy just makes plays.
