Whew! We needed that! Good job Dawgs and coaches, we finally put it all together and got the CUSA "W".
I would say we avoided the mistakes costing us the game tonight. They were still there, but we made some plays (blocked FG, Interception) to prevent defeat. Still a work in progress.

The difference is UTEP had to respect our passing game a little bit because Higgins has been moving us. That opened up the running game. Passing game still needs improvement so teams won't key on Dixon. After this game, they are going to go back to that.
O-line played much better tonight. Still some missed assignments but overall a much better effort than past games. #77 still has very heavy feet.
I feel dirty. Kinda reminds me of a bad Bicknell win. You know what I mean? Feeling good about beating a crappy team?
Still good to get a win. I hope we can get some momentum out of this and take the bye week to get our key players healthy.
