And even with Tech's struggles in the first half of the season, the Conference USA Western Division is still wide open.
It's got to suck to score 35 points, then look at the scoreboard and know you have to score more than twice that to win. Just happened to WVU.
Wow, amazing game. UTEP really had a great crowd. They really support their team. We were so lucky to win this game. Wish we had their atmosphere at our homecoming. Oh, where was Hunter Lee?

Where was Jaccari Jackson? He is catching the ball this year, he is probably the best athlete on our team, he is our deep threat, throw him the ball. We have play makers but we are not getting the ball to them. Instead we are throwing passes to Banks and Casey that they always drop. Eddie Williams creates mismatches throw him the ball.

My biggest complaint from last night. I counted 5 called pass plays in the second half. 5. Loosen up Holtz!
It's hard to say that's a bad thing when you average almost 10 yards per running play.
BUT, the timing of some of the passing calls could have been better.
I think 5 was close to the number of times I screamed at the TV when very catchable passes were dropped.
But the final score is what matters. HBTD.
When I am wrong I admit it. I was upset we decided to go for fg after Adarius int ( still president of his fan club). Felt it was morale builder for utep -- fg was difference in game. Good call coach
. Wonder if ankle sprain on Higgins was reason or wrs dropping passes?
