I'm not going to do that. I know what you mean though. But you have to admit those fumbles against Kansas were not the coaches fault. King dropping the TD pass vs Tulane? We've got make plays when the coaches put us in position to do it. If he lost at USF due to similar mistakes, maybe he is just snakebit.

I feel the 2nd one was in part -

Coming off TO inside in the 10 , last 2 minutes of game -

The first thing you emphasize is ball security first and foremost

    Nope not personal -

He sold the committee on his EXPERIENCE and MATURITY as a former HC who has been there and done that before and that was his strong point -

There would be NO learning curve under his leadership and that has NOT been the case - in a lot of situations he has the deer in the headlights look and seems clueless in clock in game management

Well coached teams don't continue to make stupid and costly mistakes

Yes. One or two stupid mistakes is on the players. Multiple, continual stupid mistakes over the course of half a season are on the coaches.

This entire protection of Skip seems personal to you. Are you Lou or what?

No. The jury is still out with me. I'm just not willing to blame mistakes by inexperienced players on a coach that has proven he can win our conference and run him out of town before he gets a chance to play with a more experienced team. I think it is irrational to say he's a loser and that's why the players are playing poorly.

Holtz gives me the impression he feels the same (minus the WBB part).

NC St., Lamar, Army, and Kansas have nothing to do with a conference championship. Isn't this the goal? Its not how you start, but how you finish. This team was very young and inexperienced at the start of the season. We need to get behind them and support them while they're figuring out their identity throughout this season. And to echo cscollis' point, we are in game seven of a three season process, like it or not, that's how long it takes (see Dooley's and SD's previous tenure). Knee jerk threads like this one do nothing positive for the program.....Go get 'em coach!!
    I agree. To the PIT!

Yes, this 2013 TEAM is finally gelling, coming together and responding much better.
