Even if we had gone out and gotten an untested young guy who fell way short, we could deal with that much better right now. My kids did enjoy the game. They got to see grandparents and play with cousins. Sad that for the first time on my life I went for the social benefit rather than the game itself. I used to be so critical of people who came to visit. I am one of them now.

I certainly agree with maddawg, everybody we play....EVERYBODY, lives in our offensive backfield. Is it just me or did it appear Dixon just didn't have the fire in his belly he normally brings....I think we finish this season with 2 wins.....
Please note that I still believe Holtz was a bad hire.
He is doing more damage every day he coaches this team.

My wife, who normally does not get caught up in the frustration that I do summed it up this morning
Me, "I read Skip's comments and he has a reason for every failed attempt. It is so frustrating."
Her, "Where did he come from? Why did they get rid of him?"
I have he the answers. Her response,"so we hired h because we could afford it."
That is all we did was get a place holder in the midst of all the other changes. It's that simple. Thank God for Mile White.
BTW his comments are even more infuriating when you realize he had TWO weeks to prepare for North Texas, and they went back to "BASICS". He has that standard spiel down about what we didn't execute, the other team was prepared to play, they made adjustments, etc... It is the same thing he says every single week.

Be careful what you wish for! The Dawgs play at Oklahoma, Auburn & ULL in 2014; not to mention, this team might get schooled by the mighty NW St. Demons. All of this outside of conference play.
