Couldn't agree more. Once again, Louisiana Tech misses the boat while the conference is competitive and strong, and joins when CUSA is at it's worst in a WHILE. Seems like we are always the last one to the party

We just need to take care of our own business and win everything we can. The rest of the conference needs to take care of their own business and TECH playing up may inspire the rest of the conference to do the same.

I think the teams that are sticking around have way more potential than most of the Sunbelt or what was left of the WAC. And the bowl tie-ins are there during good times and bad times (as long as the bad times don't last too long).

The WAC was either the #1 or #2 Non-AQ almost every year we were a member. We are still in a better position considering bowl access alone. We never had that in the WAC and wouldn't have that in the Sunbelt.

THIS. Most people don't seem to understand how much better off we are now in terms of bowl tie ins and tv exposure because of the move to CUSA.

. Avoid is wrong word. We have always wanted to SEPARATE ourselves from them. Us old folks want to be second best team in state -- for last few yrs we were on that path-- we Destroyed ULL last time we played them --Destroyed ULM with Crowton also. Really, it became a nothing to gain scenario. LSU signs 5-10 la athletes from annually-- we have always wanted to be the school of choice for recruits. uLL has made a re-commitment to football-- the Cajuns have huge chip on their shoulder , they want to prove they are better than us. For what it's worth, I was in Lafayette last time we played them-- more Tech folks there than Cajuns. Honored Jake D at halftime he got standing O from Tech

Last time we played you we lost by 4 points a few yards from the end zone.

But who cares about what happened 10 years ago? The fact is in 2013 you're only the 4th or 5th best football team in The state. LaLaff is better than Tech by a significant margin. And no one outside of Ruston would ever say Tech has a better team than ULM.

Get over yourselves, your team isn't any more special than the rest of us.
