    Remaining Games

Here's what's left. We probably need to win all 3 to go bowling:

    56. North Texas (lost by 15)
    68. Rice (AWAY)
    89. NC State (lost by 26)
    90. UTSA (AWAY)
    96. Tulane (lost by 9)
    132. Kansas (won, but gave them the game)
    146. Army (lost by 19)
    151. Tulsa (HOME)
    158. La Tech
    178. UTEP (won by 3)
    181. Lamar (won by 13)
    203. USM (won by 23)
    217. FIU (won by 16)

I just realized that if we would have beat Kansas we would have a pretty realistic chance of bowling.

I notice you focused on Kansas which can be tied to the players fumbles. I don't disagree, but getting out coached in the 2nd half cost us the Tulane game.

I would say so too, but Tulane has proven they play very good defense and create a lot of turnovers. Not a good game for Higgins to make his debut, and it showed.

I notice you and some others don't think 6 wins would be enough for a bowl game. Why?

We are Tech, we don't bowl very often when we qualify.

6 CUSA bowl tie-ins with 6 teams already eligible.

LA Tech, UTSA, & FAU could all get eligible.

Somebody will get left out unless the conference picks up an open bid. Even worse if the Liberty forgoes its CUSA bid.

Tech may be begging the I-bowl to pick us up with its open spot if we get to 6 wins. UG!

80%+ the SEC does not fill the spot in Shreveport. @RoyLangIII

Unless there are some more open slots it may be difficult to find a bowl spot for us with 6 slots and possibly 9 that are eligible. I don't think we will have that problem, but, if we do we could be sitting home again.

. I agree, need to win out or at least win Big 2/3 last games. Bowl committee could live with winning 4 out of 5 last games with no embarrassing loss. Obamacare could be repealed. ( just being silly, we have better shot than that)

Indeed. We were in control of the game at halftime.

I don't think there is much difference between Tech, Tulane and UNT. They are a little better than us, but not much.

I don't think it's a forgone conclusion that we will lose to Rice. I was pleased to see a few receivers stepping up and making some plays in the 2nd half last night (Greenwalt, Griffin, Declouette). That's a very good sign (I know USM is horrible, but still). If we can get some confidence from this game... there is a chance.

What bothers me is ULL played Troy Thursday in front of 23,000 fans. Just a few yrs ago they were playing before half of that. We have 1 more home game. If you really support Tech and it's not too much to ask, ( distance or finance) -- get to the Tulsa game.if you can not find a reason to support Dixon and our defense , hard for me too believe you are a real supporter of Tech
