I don't see how anyone can be against having a division II coach(Scott Maxfield) after watching this crap.
Because there is a not a good record of high school level coaches - which DII is - being successful at the DI level. Let him have success at a FCS before moving here.
As bad as Holtz is doing, it could absolutely be worse.
I think Henderson might beat us.

We have not been competitive in five of our losses now. Army and Rice are two of those. Army and Rice have much more talent than we have.
BTW, our S&C guy is HORRIBLE.

ULL is winning with a former D-II coach. One year at Mississippi State did not make any difference of him being D-I coaching material.
I do not think Holtz should be allowed to finish out this season. Fire him tonight.
3 years of FBS experience. 1 year at Navy (as OC). 2 years at MSU (as WR coach). MSU hints their success at the time was because of Hudspeth.
And you found the exception. That 3 years is very valuable (along with 3 years of FCS experience), and some coaches can just coach certain talent levels. No one thinks he would be successful stepping up (as head coach).
