I don't care how "tough" he is by ripping his sleeves off his polo. It was very unprofessional and I was embarrassed that he was representing our university. It may be a small detail but I think it reflects badly on our program.
Lol y'all are delusional. We're talking about FOOTBALL here. It's a game. As someone said earlier, Bill Belichick frequently wears a hoodie with the sleeves ripped off. Is he "unprofessional?" Maybe this is why we can't build something bigger and better if we're worrying about what color jerseys the players are wearing and what the strength coach does with his sleeves.
Little things matter, they all add up. While not necessarily a bid deal by itself it certainly adds to the list. Great programs care about and take care of the little things. We certainly seem weaker this year than in the last few.
"Douchey" would be the most accurate description I can think of as well.
Fair points and I'm sure most wouldn't care had this happened last year. Hester seems good on paper and has trained some notable players in the past. I don't get it. Are you sure it's on him? The defense had problems bringing people down last year with Harrington also. The o-line definitely seemed a lot tougher last year though.
There's not looking professional and there's looking like a complete moron while representing a university.
What bothered me the most was the fact that only about 1/3 of the band was there. THAT'S terrible as far as representing the university goes. Who allows this to continue and why do they still have a job at Tech? At least Hester was THERE and doing his job. Oh and the McAlister's sandwiches weren't actually McAlister's sandwiches. What's the deal with that?
