Any possibility of Tech getting at least a share of the C-USA regular season title depends on Southern Miss beating UTEP tonight.

However, if Southern Miss loses, then it improves our chances of getting a top-4 seed in the conference tournament.

With the clear separation of the Top 5 and the Top 5 looking equal to each other, we really need to finish with a Top 3 seed.

#4 will likely have to play #5 in the quarters.

I agree. The last three rounds of the tournament will be fun to watch. I believe all of the top five teams in C-USA have legitimate chances of winning the tourney next month.

Posting from Norfolk - there was a large crowd announced at 6,900 plus for last night's game. It was larger than normal because of a cheer camp for little girls held on campus. Lots of parents were there to watch their children cheer. The crowd atmosphere was almost non-existent until they played 'Ice Cream and Cake" and managed to get a court full of little cheerleaders on & off at the under 8 media timeout in the 2nd half. The crowd got into the game then.

We had a great win. It's simple now - get a top 4 seed and win 3 games in El Paso.
