I have a hard time believing they have more talent than us. A loss to ULL is unacceptable.

I remember it was a fun game, the close call notwithstanding. Several Cajun fans that post on this board made a point to visit the BB&B tailgate
One of our great labor day weekend games right? I remember that I just about melted. When was that? 2004?

Yes, 2004. But it was the week after Labor Day. We beat a ranked Fresno team in the Joe the following month, and eventually finished 6-6.

Probably would've gone bowling that year if not for an inexplicable choke job on Homecoming weekend vs UTEP. (Bc even in JB3's good years, you could always count on at least one inexplicable choke.)

I hate to sound like a downer, but I've seen nothing that would allow me to think that this year's record will be much different than last years. Yes, it was Holtz's first year at Tech. However, it was definitely not his first year to do a piss-poor job managing/developing a team. These days I feel like my fan-ship is based solely on loyalty, in lieu of faith.

I agree...and I think it had a lot to do with the way we were walked all over in every single game. Dykes didn't turn any heads his first year either, but those teams had fight and you could tell. Holtz's team just up and quit almost every game and you could tell that too.

UTEP, USM, ODU, UAB and NSU SHOULD be wins. I know that ODU has a great Senior QB, but I just don't think they will have IT yet. Anything worse than 5-7 is unacceptable.
