That is awesome.
It's almost halway through 2014 ... Werent we all supposed to have robots by now?
I mean, I love my iPad and all, but that's not really what we were promised when we were kids. They told us that robots were imminent, and by the time we were grown, there'd be a robot in every home to wash dishes and fold laundry and change light bulbs and walk the dog, etc.
We were all supposed to have a robot and a flying car. And at this point, I'd just settle for the robot.
Where's my dang robot already?!

What they didn't tell us was how expensive all this crap was going to be.

you don't want a robot. they use old people's medicine for fuel.

Why not a BACON CLUB FOR MEN?

I have family who live overseas and work with the US State Dept. There was a meet and greet with VP Biden before his meeting with the President of Romania. My family attended the event so my young cousins could have the experience and learn something our our foreign relations. My youngest cousin, a 6 yr old, asked why Biden was there. My aunt explained that he was going to talk with the leaders of Romania. Her response was priceless. "Why didn't he just call?"
Because the plane ride is much more cost efficient than cell phone minutes.
Smart kid.
I'm teaching a class of freshmen at UTA this semester. The other day I started to make a Tommy Boy joke and got lots of blank looks. I asked "Y'all probably don't even know who Chris Farley is, huh?" jokingly (I thought).
Stares and head shakes.
I weep for our future.

Over use of the words "as well" when ending a sentence.
It's okay to say too or also.
Can't find the peeve thread.
Posters who can't / won't find the appropriate thread, as well.
I'm pretty sure I could write the exact script word-for-word for many Seinfeld episodes. What is wrong with me?
