Yes. Missy has favorited several Tech tweets in the last few weeks and tweeted about watching our game against North Texas. As QNG mentioned above, I think Tech is the only school they've even sent a rep to yet.

If Tech gets the choice between the HoD or I-Bowl and they choose the I-Bowl, I will not attend.

Would the I-Bowl folks want us? Has the new administration mended that fence? I agree with Boxer that this would be a good bowl for us this year but isn't the view of the Indy people one that we slighted them?

If the Indy Bowl calls, just tell 'em to wait a short while so you can verify if the Heart of Dallas will be interested instead.

You are certainly not alone there, however this year there are two things to consider that have not been there before: CSC and Duck Commander. Provided Independence Stadium doesn't rust completely to the ground or become condemned by December 27th, I personally believe the Phil Robertson/Tech connection will bring much attention to the game and our partnering with Computer Science Corporation will present a strong urge for our university to play in the Shrev/Boss area and by that I mean Bossier. Absent these two new pieces to the puzzle, there is no question in my mind that Dallas is the best place for us to show our presence and that we should have no dealings with the I-bowl whatsoever.

BUT - if Marshall wins out, including beating us in the champ game, they will possibly be in line for a bowl upgrade, leaving us with our pick of CUSA bowls.

They only way we really get to pick our bowl game is if we win the championship... or if we are eligible but all the C-USA bowls pass on us and we have multiple offers to fill leftover open bowl spots. After the champ chooses their bowl, the conference office works with the bowl committees to assign all the non-champion C-USA teams to bowl games.
