With the loss to Western Kentucky, Army cannot fill their bid in the Armed Forces Bowl. The bowl's secondary agreement with the Big XII is kicked in.

Big 12 unlikely to fill that secondary agreement as it probably won't have 7 teams eligible. The Texas-Oklahoma State winner tonight becomes eligible, but the loser would have a rough road (Texas would have to beat TCU, or OSU would have to beat Baylor or Oklahoma).

The Mountain West West is a mess now.

Nevada's loss helps Louisiana Tech a little bit. Coming into this week, Louisiana Tech was in a group of G5 teams with Utah State, Memphis, Nevada, and East Carolina ranked 39-50 in the average computer rankings. The losses by ECU and Nevada thins out the group Tech is in.

We need more chaos in the AAC and MWC, but the current chaos is helping Tech.

FIU beats Middle Tennessee 38-28.
