Well, we probably need to sit down about this before next Fall.....my dadgum sweet tooth is still hurting. And what about your peanuts?? Do you know what it cost me with 2 grandboys at the concessions (or would have cost had anything been available) when they are accustomed to sneaking peanuts out of your bag!!
Someone should fix the problem. Is there anyone at our grand institution of higher learning who is paid to see about this sort of thing? Should we ask if money could be donated to hire a consultant?(obviously the problem is something that only a specialist is capable of correcting)
Complacency is our enemy and always has been.
When folks here on THE BBB complain about things that need to be improved a few of the complacent fans attempt to shout them down. We have emailed our ADs countless times about this problem. He may blame somebody else, but it is his responsibility.
The TWO bowls I had were pretty good too. Then they ran out.
I liked 'em enough that I'm going to try to make my own version for some backpacking breakfasts. Needed some some cheese and stronger flavored sausage. "Grits brulee" sounds Southern enough to be a culinary cultural statement, yet refined enough to be indulgent with a hint of decadence.:icon_wink:
They had no salt for the popcorn on the East side at the end of the 1st quarter!
Concessions...Small Time...Video Board...Small Time. Louisiana Tech has a long way to go...still.
If the folks in power won't fix the issues...then do like the rest of us. Bring your own "Coke" products, food and/or alcohol to the games. They might get the idea when everyone walks in with stuff from the outside & won't buy their concessions.
While I seldom post I do think the concession situation at Tech sports events is very poor. If one is to get service, it requires missing several minutes of the game. I'd also like to comment that persons with a handicap have a very difficult time since little or no provisions have been made to accommodate those with disabilities. This seems strange since so many older fans support the athletic program financially.
