Carlos Henderson and Kenneth Dixon were no slouches on offense either. Henderson led all receivers in the game and Dixon scored twice (one of them due to Henderson getting tackled at the 2).

Just watched the replay, and for those who only watched TV, it totally missed how much Villamez was hurting. He would let the right arm hang until just before the snap and then ignored the pain
This team had a lot of players step up and have special games and seasons, but the one I believe was most critical after Sokol and Dixon would be Bulter. I think he did a great job holding the middle down, so that we could run all of our different blitzes. We made teams mostly one dimensional by controlling their running games.
X had a great move at the goal line pylon.

Add Blake Martin to that list. Those yards--and first down and TOUCHDOWN--he got when he came in late in the fourth quarter was as valuable as any all year. Ran time down, kept the ball from Illinois, got us 6 pts. Great to see Blake contribute at such a critical time.
And he and KD stayed in bounds and kept the clock running on that drive too.
Not being contrrian but Dixon #1 -- others are great story line but Dixon stripping ball after fumble changed the game and he scores 4-6 playslater. Dixon on screen plan going almost 70 yards--Dixon taking focus of Illinois defense on him -- other 3 players were fabulous ( along with team ) but no way anyone was more valuable than Dixon . Totally different game without Dixon --- can not understand how that is not obvious but everyone allowed their opinion....
