No. We were eliminated from the NCAA at-large pool before the season started with our 315+ OOC SOS. Our schedule didn't give our guys a chance. This loss to UNT pretty much eliminates Tech from NIT at-large contention. 1 good win, 2 bad losses, 100+ RPI. This team isn't even close to the NIT bubble. We are CBI/CIT-bound unless we get the No. 1 seed in the C-USA Tourney or win the C-USA Tourney.

Maybe. But I'm not convinced this team is deep enough to be NIT quality. I'm concerned that the other teams are finally learning how to beat LA Tech. We will find out more over the 2nd half of our conference season.
