Those of us who've kissed the ring knew about this series weeks ago, but didn't need to pull an announcement out of a body orifice just to win the contest that only exists for those who want to be like us. LA Tech should be able to MAKE big money with Baylor coming to Ruston in 2021. We'll probably have to bring in some temporary stands, etc.... to take the numbers up to 35K+.......but that HOME game could be worth between $1.2 and $1.5M, depending on what we charge ($45 or $50) per ticket.

Do you think Baylor will generate the sale of more tickets than the Ms State game? It better because that Ms State showing was not good and if history repeats itself we are in for a big hit financially.

- 2007 at Buffalo and 2010 at Baylor
- 2013 at Baylor and 2014 at Buffalo

No it's actually 2 contracts, a one and done and a 1-for-1. Let's look at it from another angle,

Baylor called wanting a one-and-done money game, for X amount of dollars (above 500k).

McClelland said, well do a one-and-done for 500k and a separate 1-for-1 deal starting at Tech the year after the one-and-done.

IMO that's a great deal he worked for us, if we take Baylor to the wire(or beat them) they still have to come play in Ruston or pay big $$$ to cancel the entire 1-for-1 contract.

It's called a 2-for-1. It's a 3-game package deal. That's how they are done. Just like our Mississippi State 2-for-1 deal was done with a small payout for one of the games.
