More persecution of Christians

American Jews will continue to vote democrat. They are driven by greed.

Yeah, and 95% of blacks will continue to vote democrap too. They go to church and sing and pray and shout they are Christians...then vote for the anti-God party.

Unfortunately, both people groups have scales on their eyes and are blinded to the truth.
But the church body of believers is responsible as well and should be calling the WH, Rep and Senators daily for Obama to start protecting Christians and Jews from this current and probably (Biblically) worse coming persecution and slaughter. And the body of believers, carnal or without scales on their eyes, didn't turn out and vote.

As Reagan said, government is the problem, not the solution. But to those groups and more, the government is both problem and solution, just a lesser problem than anything and everything the "evil" side of America puts out and a solution that has mixed results but has overall worked out for them.

In 2008 50 million Catholics voted in the prez election, obummer got 54% 27 million, McCain (and a few others) got 46% or 23 million, McCain getting the lion's share of that, of course.

In 2012 45 million Catholics voted (remember 9 million fewer total votes were cast in '12 vs. '08), obummer got 51% 22.9 million and Romney got right at 48% 21.6 million votes.

Yes, it has given me pause with my own Church. The explanation offered has been the concern for the poor. Democraps are perceived to be better for "the poor" and there remains an old-school notion, that other transgressions are to be set aside, hold your nose and vote democrapic cuz it's the Christian thing to do.

Our American society has forgotten the principles of our founding fathers and the grace, mercy and teachings of our Lord and Savior. It is so much more than just enabling the poor (read Proverbs).

I am not calling anyone on the board out because, sadly, I don't know most of you personally. However, it has been my experience that most "Christians" today are professing Christians, but not practicing Christians. Our country has completely forgotten what it means to be a Christian. However, we do a great job of pretending. We also do a great job securing our personal eternal destination and taking care of those inside the church walls with us. IMO, it's time for church to meet outside the walls where we can quit blessing the blessed and get back to making an impact. Okay, I'm done.

As usual, he picks and chooses the teachings of Christ that "fit his moment of theater". Christ said in John 14:6 that He is the only way. Obama has said, along with many on this forum, that there are many ways to get to heaven. That is not a Christian tenant.
